I am the owner of a small business, PITT Consulting Group. It is a women and minority owned business which is focused on IT and Business Consulting. It is WBENC certified, 8(a), and HubZone. I pride myself on that business as that not only do we want to provide exceptional service, we’re a company on a mission to make a huge change in how you perceive IT. Its a big job, but we’re just the team to get it done!

I occasionly give the odd talk about getting girls and women more involved in Engineering and the Sciences (especially computer science!). Senior Project Manager & Program Manager, 8/2016 – Current

Manage planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects for several clients while concurrently supporting additional clients as an outsourced Program Manager. Control and own accountability for program budget in excess of +$1M. Collaborate with PMO to develop and implement process improvements.

  • Consistently improve GP on projects through on-scheduled delivery and maximization of resources.

IT Consultant (Contract), 4/2013 – Current

  • Designed and launched new backup and storage solutions, improving disaster recovery potential and effective use of available space.

Conceptualized and launched entrepreneurial venture to provide emergency management, disaster recovery, and business continuity services to private clients as well as those in local and state municipalities. Provided businesses with IT, project management, and business consultation services with specialization in mobility and wireless technologies.

  • Supported emergency teams in St. Bernard Parish, LA during BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill with IT consultations, including creation of telecommunication architecture with innovative use of various technologies to establish data and internet connectivity in areas where none previous existed.
  • Participated in development of digital security standards for basecamps throughout Deepwater Horizon event in alignment with federal guidelines and regulations.

 

Senior Project Delivery Manager (Contract), 6/2015 – 3/2016

Spearheaded Project Gemini, to split new Baxalta Company from Baxter Pharmaceutical. Developed projection for space in main datacenter. Engaged and supervised offshore resources and managed project pipeline.

  • Owned and managed timelines and deliverable for all IBM projects related to Baxalta Go-Live activities.
  • Established and enforced strict compliance to FDA regulations and procedures for both staff and projects related to pharmaceutical companies.

 

Senior Service Delivery Manager, 8/2013 – 6/2015

Directed service delivery for 3 nationwide clients, including Hospira/Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Oversaw implementations, change & risk management, and timelines and SLAs. Provided clients with support and advice in building technical roadmaps. Monitored budgets for each clients, consistently meeting financial objectives. Established and enforced compliance to FDA rules and regulations for staff and projects.

  • Managed teams of offshore and onshore technical resources, ensuring skills and knowledge of each team utilized most effectively to resolve issues.
  • Served in key role as primary POC for escalations and triage on Sev1 issues.
  • Developed and presented technical documentation to effectively communicate response to inquiries and any escalations from client.

Served in unique role combining Project Manager and Technical Manager, involving quarterly business reviews and market analysis.
